Proper care will keep your Nileloom textiles looking beautiful for years to come.
Expert Care Instructions:
1. Only wash cotton with cotton. Other fabric fibres can cause aggravation. Your cotton could pill faster and look older after just a few washes
2. Make sure to separate dark towels and light ones before putting anything into the washing machine
3. Use a gentle washing cycle
4. Choose the right temperature:
Colored: 100% Egyptian cotton towels wash best at 40 to 60 degrees max
White: 100% Egyptian cotton towels can reach 90 degrees of washing
5. Avoid using fabric softeners or conditioners
6. Wash White cotton towels with a small amount of detergent and non-chlorine bleach, and colored towels with a small amount of detergent and a color-safe bleach if necessary
7. Add a spoonful of white vinegar to the last wash. That gets them soft and fluffy without coating the fibres like fabric conditioner does also removes any soap residuals
8. Once you have them out of the washer, be sure to give your towels long enough to just dry fully, either hung for air drying or in the dryer (Tumble dry), but not too long, as over-drying can compromise cotton fiber integrity. temperatures above 60 degrees to max 90 degrees
