"Sesen, the lotus flower, embodied rebirth and purity. Its daily bloom from the Nile’s depths inspired optimism and resilience. Worshipers drew positive energy from Sesen’s cycle of renewal, finding strength in transformation and beauty, fostering a serene, hopeful vibe in their spiritual lives."

The true icon in ancient Egyptian religion. The Sesen or The lotus flower was one of the first plants to exist in Ancient Egypt, it emerged in the world from the primordial mud deposit before the dawn of creation, according to Egyptian mythology, this flower the “Nile Blue Water lily” closes at evening and sinks beneath the water, then at daybreak, it emerges to open again; this pattern identified it with life, creation, rebirth, regeneration and, especially, the sun, it was also sometimes linked with the god of perfume and sweet smells. The blue lotus flower was one of the symbols of the goddess Hathor, and the Egyptians believed that it had curative properties. People made ointments, remedies, lotions, and perfumes. They used the flower for its health properties, for cleansing, and even as an aphrodisiac. The symbol dates to the Early Dynastic Period but became most popular from the Old Kingdom onwards.
